A most fascinating book!

This was a most fascinating book to read from a female perspective. Anyone who is running into difficulaties in any relationship would benefit from the viewpoints outlined by the author. This book could make a difference to a relationship succeeding or failing, whether it be intimate or a general relationship. A good read for males and females, especially if they are from a culture which promotes degrading values in society. We are all spiritual beings and all deserve respect, regardless of what sex we are.

The surprising truth about women, friendship, and respect

After being offered a chance by the author to review his most recent publication, I happened upon this one as well in the publications queue and was intrigued enough to give it a try too. I know I am one of those people in the "When Harry Met Sally" camp who is dubious about the nature of opposite-sex friendships just remaining that, friendships-but the author really does open our eyes to what can blossom when you take the one-sided pursuit of sex out of the equation.
Richard G. Lowe apparently used to photograph belly dancers, and had a swell time at his birthday party as a result of being an in-demand photographer. I have to say, I have got a lot of respect for someone like this! I think a more high-caliber type of men are more likely to be fascinated by belly dance, much more so than guys who go to strip joints-as it is an ancient art; albeit a sensual one-still, a time-honored form of art through movement and esthetics. Any girl can become a pole dancer to put herself through college, but I'll bet it takes a real woman skilled in the art of dance to be like the ladies described in this book.
Read this book and discover for yourself; you do not need to become a "metrosexual", you do not need to pander to women, and you certainly do not need to become a master pick-up artist (especially if you are trying NOT to become a sleazeball!) to be surrounded by beautiful women in real life. You need to follow the Coca-Cola rule and recognize women as people and not chattel. It all goes back to mastering "soft skills"...No tricks or master PUA abilities discussed here. Surprised? Don't be. It is exactly what you were taught by wise, enlightened individuals.

Down to earth

This book was short and easy read. It didn't contain dark secrets or any groundbreaking concepts.
In fact, it's message may even seem to simplistic for many; but it's true nonetheless.
It's like the first step on the Anonymous Problems with Women program: admit you have a problem.
Yes, when it comes to friendship between people of opposite sex men are the problem most of the times.
I can appreciate the down to earth approach of the author: as a brother of five sisters and a man who recently started some unlikely friendships (for example I befriended a consecrated widow) I vote for his approach wholehearteadly.
I love self-publishing for books like "How to Be Friends With Women"; it's written by someone who experienced himself the specific issue (here: how it is to befriend plenty of beautiful women) and can give the account firsthand.
I recommend this bok for every man puzzled by his inability to become friends with women.
