I'm inspired to create!

I have to admit it, I adore brunch. It's my favorite meal. It is wonderful to come across a beautiful new cookbook that not only provides lots of inspiration and more than a few totally new ideas for putting together a stunning breakfast or brunch, but is also a worthy addition to my cookbook collection. I'm impressed with this one, and can't wait to try out some of the recipes. I like the way the book is organized, it handily gives measurements for both US and metric cooks, and perhaps best of all, this cookbook is chock-a-block full of glorious color photos of each dish, which happens to be one of my cardinal rules for evaluating new cookbooks. If there are no color photos to give me the idea of what the finished dish should look like (this is a case where one picture is really worth a thousand... well, you know...), then I generally take a pass, no matter how clever the recipes appear to be. This cookbook meets that qualification with flying... colors!

Fantastic Recipes

This is an example of a hidden gem - no celebrity author, no glossy photos or massive size - but it is a very thoroughly tested and well written book of recipes. I'm a chef working on new recipes for a bed & breakfast and every single one in this book that I've tested came out perfectly the first time and got rave reviews from our tasters! Even more surprising is that it was published in London and includes instructions for both European and US cooks. VERY well done - can't recommend it highly enough.

Wonderfully Delicious

I enjoy making breakfast for family and friends on the weekend. I have a handful of breakfast and brunch cookbooks. This is one of my favorites. I constantly get positive reviews when I use recipes from this little gem. Last weekend I made the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the Lemon and Sage Tisane. My guests and I were in total heaven. My partner can't get enough of the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. Most of the recipes are very easy with BIG, flavorful results. The only recipe I had a hard time with is the Marmalade and Almond Bread, but I probably wasn't paying close enough attention to the recipe. My plan is to cook my way through the entire book. There's enough variety to make this an exciting goal. The recipes range from simple egg and waffle dishes to hearty sandwiches. If you love cooking breakfast, don't pass on this book. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

Handy!

If you ever get your hands on this very large book and are an intermediate astrology student you'll enjoy it very much so don't miss the chance.
It's very handy and informative, contains information about almost everything in astrology. Even though it's from the 70's the information applies well for today.
If you're an expert astrologer, don't bother. Unless you want to add it to your collection.

Taken as a whole, the essays richly illustrate how the evolution of sexuality in America is a product of an ongoing negotiation of moral values and shifting political and economic circumstances.

Great book. This text doesn't simply reference court cases and personal testimonies, but provides PRIMARY sources. Excellent and thorough in its examination of sexual history in America. Almost every chapter tackles issues from perspectives or angles that were previously completely unknown to me.

Jack Bernstein was a patriotic American who leaped on the Zionist propaganda bandwagon of diaspora Jews returning to Israel. He became greatly disillusioned and alarmed by his personal experiences in Israel and the discovery of the true nature of Zionism as a political movement seeking to establish a supranation of Israel (Judaism, however, is a non-aggressive religion)

Having returned to the sanctuary of America, and with the help of journalist Len Martin, he authored a book in 1984 attempting to expose the truth and warn the American public. He joined the ranks of other courageous Jews who had for decades also been trying to notify the nation as to the very real and present danger of covert Zionist forces at work within the upper echelons of the political and financial affairs of America. Many of these heroic watchmen were wealthy and prominent celebrities including Albert Einstein and Benjamin Freedman.

Albert Einstein was an early Zionist who believed in Jews worldwide being allowed to return to their ancestral land of Palestine as an asylum from persecution and/or to be able to practice Judaism without hindrance. He was even asked to be the first president of the newly established State of Israel, but he declined. He did NOT believe in displacing the indigenous Palestinians. He was abhorred by the activities of the Zionist terrorist groups (especially the "Stern" and "Irgun") operating in Palestine in the years prior to 1948.

Along with 27 other prominent Jews of the day, he co-wrote and signed an "Open Letter" which was printed in the New York Times urging Americans to not be deceived by the newly evolved Zionist "Freedom" party of Menachem Begin. That letter is reproduced in full after the text of Jack Bernstein's book.

Additionally, there are excerpts from  The Official Report of the United States Army Intelligence, 2nd Bureau as printed in the "The British Guardian" on February 13th, 1925 along with excerpts from the article itself. The topic was the mounting concern of the United States regarding the encroaching threat of the distinctly Zionist International Bankers who had financed the Bolshevik revolution and were launching a global communist campaign.

About the Author

Benjamin H. Freedman came from a wealthy Jewish family in New York City. At one time, he was the principle owner of the Woodbury Soap Company. He was intimately acquainted with Bernard Baruch, Samuel Untermeyer, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Jacob Schiff, and John F. Kennedy (whom he admired) to name just a few.

Freedman dedicated himself and his considerable fortune to exposing the Zionist tyranny he believed was enslaving the U.S. covertly through political and religious channels.  His speech before a prominent military organization in Washington, D.C. in 1974  (at the request of Colonel Curtis B. Dall, former son-in-law of FDR) is reproduced in its entirety and sheds considerable light on the accusations against the Zionists by Jack Bernstein and Albert Einstein.
 
Also included, is the infamous "Call to Action" Benjamin Freedman references in his speech. It was first issued by Samuel Untermeyer (attorney, chief architect of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, and lead International Zionist spokesman) in 1933 over radio station WABC and reprinted the following day in full in the New York Times. The complete text is reproduced following the Freedman speech.
 
Untermeyer had just returned from Europe and was urging Jews and Christians worldwide to boycott all German made goods and any merchants who sold them - adjuring them to join with him in a "Holy War." Many scholars are convinced that it was this strategy which ignited Hitler's most brutal and barbaric tactics against the Jews. Contained in the speech, is Untermeyer's extreme disapproval of the wealthy Jews who were actually financing Hitler's atrocities against their own people. He could not comprehend WHY they would do such a thing.

Bottom line, there is no Jewish conspiracy, but there is a Zionist conspiracy and it is imperative for you to know the difference and how it is effecting the politics and financials in the United States.

About the Author

Camilla Boisen is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Political Theory at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Her area of research is on colonial political thought in relation to the development of ideas of property rights, trusteeship and humanitarian intervention and their influence on contemporary problems such as post-colonial restitution.

Matthew C. Murray is the Senior Project Advisor for the Growthpolicy.org project at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and serves as Special Lecturer of Philosophy at Providence College. Matthew is actively researching and publishing in the areas of critical theories of justice (subaltern, race, culture, gender and disability) and their effects on the ideas of and applications of distributive and social justice.

For the price, this little book really is incredible. It's straight to the point and pithy. And the info culled for it isn't theory based--its the stuff the best salesmen like former Lehman Bros. salesmonster Marty Shafiroff are deploying everyday out there in the battlefield we call sales. There are dozens and dozens of useless and dull sales advice books out there--pick this one if you're looking for a sound investment. I hope RJ Shook updates this fine book one day (it is was published in 1990). The info in this book is gold. Having a hard time opening your accounts? Of course you are, skippy, you're still wasting your time reading this instead of ordering this book.
